The Senior Privacy Analyst role is responsible for evaluating privacy impacts across all of Intel's business units and help drive mitigation strategies and decisions to ensure Intel is compliant with global data protection laws. This includes, but is not limited to, business process and technology analysis, driving mitigation options and/or effectiveness of controls, influencing tactical and strategic direction, and effectively partnering with business units to enable Intel's compliance.
This role will participate in or lead elements of Intel's Privacy Assurance Services and Audit and Compliance program; including, reviewing findings of audit and compliance program, privacy metrics, privacy incidents and privacy investigations, analyze the information and provide leadership guidance.
Provide subject matter expertise in the area of privacy, keeping abreast of new developments and best practices
Conduct privacy assessments of products and services to determine how to reduce risk
Analyze and interpret privacy-related legislation and regulatory requirements and driving updates/decisions for internal policies and/or guidelines
Contribute to or lead the definition, development, implementation and maintenance of corporate privacy compliance requirements
Pro-actively communicate with business groups on privacy related best practices
Support external engagement and outreach activities as required
An in-depth understanding of information privacy policies, principles and technologies; knowledge and familiarity with applicable laws and standards; best practices, and common risk frameworks; in-depth understanding of risk management & controls.
Ability to influence using insight, logic, and data to effectively persuade partners or customers on recommendation or course of action. Be able to anticipate controversies and defuse them. Be able to skillfully navigate around obstacles and ambiguity. Ability to work in a geographically dispersed environment.
Effective written and verbal communication; able to clearly and concisely articulate issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Convey information to turn around a challenging audience while maintaining composure. Actively listens to peers, partners, customers, stakeholders, etc.
Qualifications & Experience
At least 5 years of experience in, progressive privacy roles for a large company. Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance required. Demonstrated accomplishments in privacy policies, risk management, and incident response.
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with 4 years related experience. CIPP certification and/or CISSP required.
