The Sr. Process Engineer will support projects and day to day operation of packaging processes with emphasis on serialization.
This may include product transfer projects, cost improvement projects, capital equipment installations, Right First Time initiatives, and safety and compliance driven initiatives for Drug Product Operations.
Provide highly effective process engineering support to the site's Packaging Operations. The successful candidate will provide technical support and/or leadership to the following packaging related subjects:
• Configuration, maintenance and setup of Systech based serialization systems
• Develop and maintain business processes for packaging
• Qualification of new equipment and processes
• Technical trouble-shooting and deviation investigation related to Packaging Operations
• Packaging machine equipment specifications, new vendor/equipment selection, and startup of new equipment
Addition duties may include:
• Provide subject matter expert input to regulatory inspections
• Benchmark drug product packaging processes across the corporation and industry
• Present drug product inspection process strategies to site's senior management
Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field such as Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
Five or more years of related experience
Practical experience with packaging and serialization processes (Systech preferred).
Candidate will be required to gown and execute responsibilities according to departmental procedures.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Up to 5% domestic and/or international travel
