Role Summary/Purpose: Define the aftermarket strategy of on a newly developed commercial product and lead the implementation of that strategy resulting in world class repair/service capabilities to commercial airlines around the globe.
In addition you will :
+ Determine and implement repair/service strategies for US-based, European-based, and Asia-based airline customers
+ Oversee the stand-up of all the selected repair facilities insuring they are fully capable of making all repairs before the first unit is received
+ Ensure compliance to all contractual commitments with the customer
+ Ensure suppliers are contractually compliant towards GE
+ Ensure customer contractual requirements are flowed down to all major suppliers
+ Model the anticipated returns and insuring sufficient material and spares are on hand to service the customer at each facility
+ Present to Executive leadership topics such as proposed strategies and corresponding business cases, implementation status, field repair performance
+ Build relationship with industry MROs around the world
+ • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other applicable field of study
+ At least 5 years experience in commercial airline customer facing role and/or working with Boeing
+ Program management skills with ability to lead cross functional teams (prefer GE Aviation experience)
+ • MBA with strong business and financial acumen
+ Knowledge of civil aerospace MRO market
+ Strong leadership skills with a customer focused mind-set
+ Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
+ Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs
+ Experience and familiarity with FAA regulations
+ Knowledge of airline maintenance practices
+ Technical understanding of GE products, services and processes
