Current Need

Responsible for all aspects of the development, implementation, and execution of projects and programs of varying sizes and complexity involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or program from the design process through the finished state for internal and external customers.

Position Description

Provides a single point of contact for projects.

Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.

Interface with all areas affected by the project which may include customers, client services and various departments (networking, backup team, infrastructure, etc.).

Defines project scope and objectives, and plans and directs schedules. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.

Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as a conduit between clients, line management, and internal and external resources.

Monitors the project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customers on all matters

Assesses project issues and risks and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.

Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables

Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.


Minimum Requirements
5+ years experience in project management, requirements definition, building systems solutions and/ or deployment of business requirements to information systems.

Critical Skills

Minimum 5+ years experience in project management

Must have Healthcare experience

Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

Experienced and comfortable working with all levels within the organization

Experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and the Microsoft Office Suite a must

Experience with GE Centricity Business a plus

Additional Knowledge & Skills


PMP certification preferred

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
