Sr Project Manager - Retail Branch Transformation

The Bank’s Market Planning and Execution Team was formed to support the company’s aggressive agenda to optimize the Retail Branch Distribution Network.  Within this group, the Branch Activity Management group focuses on strategy execution at the branch level. The strategy includes the development of new retail branches and branch relocations, funded in part by the consolidation of underperforming or redundant branches from within the network.

The environment is fast-paced and strategic, with work that is essential to the Bank’s success.  The role requires a well-rounded individual who can translate the Program’s strategy into executable market and project-level plans. This will require broad leadership and partnership with stakeholders across multiple departments.  This individual should be comfortable operating at a high level delivering strategy, as well as at a detailed level to ensure the various deliverables of the program are well managed.  This individual should bring the ability to interact and communicate with senior leadership to influence outcomes, as well as, be comfortable guiding and coaching team members at all levels.  Occasional travel can be expected (25%).

  • Partner heavily with the Bank’s Branch & Café Care and Construction, OCC Licensing, Local Transformation, Commercial, Small Business, HR, Transformers, Local Distribution groups among other internal partners, to influence and execute business intent for the program and track execution.
  • Partner with the Bank’s New Build program to track and coordinate activities necessary for the opening of denovo branches for our Retail Banking business.
  • Work with External Affairs and other risk and communications partners to identify and analyze risks and develop, coordinate and implement mitigation plans.
  • Using Agile principles, coach and guide team to achievement of deliverables.
  • Drive consistency in the program delivery model with the cross-functional project teams.
  • Lead project status meetings, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and manage/mitigate risks.
  • Ensure project reporting and regular communication to project leadership team, customer and sponsor.
  • Identify and drive process improvements.

-Bachelor’s Degree or military experience 

-At least 5 years of experience in project management

-At least 2 years of experience in program management

-At least 3 years of experience in people management

-Master's degree
