A Quality Engineer position is available in Cheboygan WI, courtesy of Adecco Engineering and Technology. This person must have Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering or Applied Science required or a combination of education and related experience & 2-5 years (5+ of direct related tasks for level III) Hands-on Quality experience with FDA regulated products required.
This role will be responsible for developing technical specifications for materials, intermediates and finished products. With Global Product Development staff, develop, review and approve designated raw material, formulation, intermediate and product specifications. Serves as independent quality reviewer or approver for controlled documents and reports as needed. To be considered for the job, the successful candidate will have ASQ technical certification (CQE, CSSBB, CSSGB) is preferred & prior experience desired in validation of processes for OTC.
Quality Engineer job responsibilities include:
Assists in the development of test plans and process validation protocols. Provides input for sampling plans, test methods, and acceptance criteria. Reviews and approves test plans, protocols, and reports.
Develops systems for data and statistical analysis. Serves as the subject matter expert on design of experiments and statistical analysis in support of materials, processes, and products.
Interfaces with plant engineering, operations and quality to ensure technology transfer for new products is performed in accordance with regulatory and manufacturing site requirements.
Analyzes data (complaints, material nonconformance's, and waste) for trends and product quality continual improvement opportunities.
Serves as the quality representative on product development teams.
Advocates and teaches advanced quality tools such as DoE, multivariate analysis, and root cause analysis
Associates have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility is part of each associate's essential accountabilities.
Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed or requested
Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering or Applied Science required or a combination of education and related experience.
2-5 years (5+ of direct related tasks for level III) Hands-on Quality experience with FDA regulated products required.
ASQ technical certification (CQE, CSSBB, CSSGB) is preferred.
Prior experience desired in validation of processes for OTC drugs.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong communication skills.
Computer proficiency, in Microsoft Excel, Word, Windows NT, and statistical software.
