As a Sr. Sales Engineer (SE) you will be responsible for the technical sales activities of our suite of our market-leading endpoint security products that support and achieve corporate revenue objectives. The SE should have proven experience with soliciting business requirements, developing a technical sales strategy, configuring and effectively demonstrating the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value. Demonstrations include presentations to business and technical audiences ranging from end users to Sr. Executives using a variety of technology, as well as impromptu discussions. The SE assists and often leads in sales opportunities along with the Account Executive. As a key member of Sales team, the Sales Engineer is also responsible for adhering to Dell’s core values, and providing measurable customer value. **Responsibilities :** - Develop and demonstrate core competence within the Dell Data Protection product line. - Provide a feedback loop from the field to Product Marketing on market requirements. - Work with Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering teams to identify and resolve potential inadequacies in the products. - Deliver demonstrable examples of technology that highlight the value of the Dell Data Protection Product Line. - Demonstrate the ability to understand local/global compliance laws/initiatives, and other security standards. - Maintains up-to-date certifications on current products, tools, and architecture · - Participates in all appropriate product training to acquire and maintain a detailed level of product knowledge · - Experience with one or more of the following technologies: **Anti-virus/Anti-malware, Encryption, Multifactor Authentication, Data Backup/Recovery** - Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows OS, Mac OS, Virtualization, SQL Server, firewalls, networking protocols - Ability to discuss a wide variety of endpoint technology, including desktop/laptop, handhelds, tablets, etc. - Knowledge of trends in the security space. - Ability to travel upon request, and attend customer and company meetings. **Requirements:** - 8+ recent years selling complex security software solutions into large corporations. - Product and Technical Knowledge.
