Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company Upstream Chemicals has an opening for a Sr. Sales Manager - Upstream Chemicals in Midland/Odessa, TX (covering the Permian Basin area). In this role, you will:

+ Develop and implement sales strategies for Permian Basin area accounts

+ Assist with the development of short and long range sales goals

+ Ensure compliance with Sales and Service Standards at a key customer accounts

+ Engage and communicate with field personnel at customer facilities and sites

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Identifies and closes new sales growth opportunities

+ Leads and oversees activities within assigned applications

+ Interfaces across the internal organization

+ Builds strong relationships with key customers through value-selling and entertainment

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ 8+ years of upstream chemical application experience

+ Strong understanding of demulsification, corrosion control, scale inhibition, paraffin inhibition and remediation as well overall knowledge of oilfield operations

+ Excellent communication skills

+ Excellent negotiating skills

+ Expertise in sales and marketing

+ Strong at building customer relationships at all levels of customer organization

Desired Characteristics:

+ Bachelors of Science Degree in Engineering or Sciences field

+ 5+ years of people management / development experience

+ As needed field support

+ Strong Microsoft Office skills
