Basic qualifications:
BS degree in Life Science, Business or related areas
4 years experience as an Oversight Professional or Supplier Relationship Manager.
Experience ensuring that CRO contracts are managed and issues are appropriately escalated across the governance framework
Experience with Clinical Study budget benchmarking/fair market value analysis, investigator site contracting and investigator grant payments
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical development process.
Supplier relationship management experience with demonstrated success at the operational level, experience at both a CRO and large pharmaceutical company
Operationally focused with understanding of big picture strategy

Preferred qualifications:
Understanding of GSK organizational structure including key contacts in therapeutic areas, Lines/Functions
Experience participating in internal and external inspections and developing/implementing preventive/corrective action plans
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization both internally and externally
Ability to successfully manage matrix teams

The primary purpose of this job is to oversee the performance of, and develop a strategic relationship with, CROs contracted by GSK to perform study budget benchmarking/fair market value analysis, site contracting and investigator grant payment services for GSK R&D-sponsored studies conducted across all therapeutic areas and stages of development.

Ensure high-quality delivery of the services executed by our strategic suppliers and continuous improvement of how we work together as organizations.

Key deliverables include:
Contribute to the development and drive the implementation of short, medium and long-term Supplier Functional Oversight Strategy
Build effective relationships with key strategic suppliers(s) and internal customers at executive and operational levels
Manage and maintain effective governance model with strategic suppliers
Monitor quality and performance, and drive continuous process improvement between GSK and Strategic Suppliers
Take a leadership role in participating in internal and external inspections and developing/implementing preventive/corrective action plans
