Role Summary/Purpose

The Sr. Operations Manager, Partner Management responsibility is to build, maintain and enhance relationships with strategic (high-value and high-dependency) software partners and internal stakeholders (such as leadership and end users). The Sr. Operations Manager, Partner Management serve as liaison between the partners and the business.

Essential Responsibilities

Overall, the Sr. Operations Manager, Partner Management must

ensure that the organization achieves its objectives with strategic partners

and assists the partners in their efforts to be successful within the GE Power

Digital organization.

* Develop and lead the partner management strategy, ensuring

that Partners are delivering maximum value through their services

* Establish internal policies and approve external policies,

standards, processes and templates for working with partners.

* Understand Partner spending by category, cost center, region

and partner.

* Classify, rationalize and optimize the partner portfolio,

and concentrate efforts on managing the most strategic partners.

* Manage regular senior-level collaborative meetings between

the partner and the client.

* Create contract, performance, relationship and risk

management procedures.

* Ensure there are clear metrics across all key performance

indicators (KPIs) to ensure strong performance management.

* Manage appropriate personnel (such as performance, contract

and risk, and relationship managers) that are part of the partner management

team.

* Identify and execute value opportunities with key partner

relationships.

* Manage the team whose activities are related to partner relationships,

contract and commercial terms and conditions, and product or service

performance. Perform this function related to information systems, external

software sources and externally sourced software services.

* Analyze problem areas, and help resolve issues and disputes.

* Manage the communications process with partners.

* Develop the reporting for partner performance in areas that

include (but are not limited to) quality, capacity, systems and responsiveness

* Collect constituent reporting requirements, and develop

partner scorecards and dashboards that present relevant data tailored to the

audience.

* Focus partner performance metrics on technical, process and

business outcomes, such as innovation, competitive advantage and increased

revenue. Define and hold strategic partners to higher performance standards,

and drive continuous improvement.

* Maintain/enhance tools for use in partner management,

including partner tracking, analytics and performance management tools

(scorecards and dashboards).

* Collect, consolidate and communicate detailed reports and

key partner data to stakeholders on partner performance, risk and

relationships. Foster analytics-driven decisions based on this data.

* Inform Partner managers/procurement and business operations

about information gleaned from market investigation reports on sourcing

methods, products and potential partners, and while conducting partner

analysis.

* Ensure the partner management office (VMO) is mitigating,

monitoring and managing partner risks

* Include financial viability, business continuity, and

corporate and regulatory compliance.

* Assess and report on the risk level of partners based on

financial, skills, tools and the use of third parties.

* Establish the right organizational structure, and provide

for staff development

* Provide appropriate support/training to internal staff that

manage individual partner accounts.

* Drive a focused culture through performance targets,

one-on-ones, a clear engagement strategy and regular performance reviews,

ensuring you have the right person in the right role, based on their skills and

competencies.

* Work with internal colleagues to ensure they have the

appropriate information and knowledge at hand to be successful in what they do.

* Assist Partner managers and procurement (if outside the VMO)

with partner evaluation and selection criteria, procedures, and best-practice

tools and templates.

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or master's degree

* Minimum five years of experience in partner management is

needed, including management of third-party partners, in-depth sourcing and

commercial expertise.

* Two or more years of experience in project/asset management,

procurement, and partner relations in a technology environment are desirable.
