Responsible for developing detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. May have customer interaction.  Converts specifications about business problems into programming instructions.  Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary.  Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.  Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems.  Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large scale system.  Maintains records to document program development and revisions.  Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.  Provides technical support to technical vendor resources.  As appropriate; designs and codes  business process models; designs and codes business rules and algorithms.  Performs related duties as assigned or requested.



  • Primarily responsible for the Design and Development of Speech enabled IVRs and other related self-service applications·
  • Analyzing requirements, developing detailed designs for implementation of technical work, defining implementation and testing procedures, and responsible for product integration testing.
  • Interface closely with key business leaders, offshore developers and vendors
  • Provide expertise in software development life cycle providing cost effective solutions
  • Act as a technical subject-matter expert in the Contact Center Domain.



  • 5+ years of experience with Telephony
  • 5+ years of experience working as a liaison with business partners
  • JAVA Development experience
  • 5+ Call Routing and Call Back Assist software experience, NICE Interaction & Fizzback – Avaya preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with IVR Dialogue Designer Development experience
  • Cyara Pulse and/or Empirix Hammer
  • ACME packet & SIP message interpretation desired
