Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to join a growing organization to industrialize software services and integration components for Internet-of-Things (IoT) domain. The individual will join a high visible IoT platform delivery organization that enable Schneider LOBs to develop and deliver digital offers across the globe.

As a Senior C# developer, you will create and support robust, easy-to-use, compelling enterprise applications, services and APIs for our internal Schneider line-of-business units using .Net framework and Azure cloud technologies.

We are seeking an experienced hands-on C# development engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with other engineers, architects, product owners, QA engineers, and others to help develop and deliver software services and components to accelerate our LOB IoT solution.

Responsibilities
Build reusable and extensible .Net libraries, frameworks and services to enhance and enrich Schneider’s IoT platform capabilities. The C# developer will industrialize the integration and interoperable components and services using C#, .Net Framework and Azure cloud technologies to help and support the acceleration of our internal stakeholder solution to market.

  • Design application components based on requirements using object oriented principles
  • Implement design into C# modules and frameworks using best practice standards and principles.
  • Write automated unit tests.
  • Build new and enhance existing framework and extension components for Schneider IoT platform and services.
  • Develop and deploy C# Apps and APIs in Azure Cloud.



Qualifications:
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Expert in C# or .NET Framework with deeper Object Oriented design experience.
  • Experience with Agile Dev Environment (i.e. JIRA to track or equivalent)
  • Programming Experience to include minimum of 5 to 7 years:
  • Developing C# (.NET) Applications and REST APIs
  • Developing Web-based Applications and Web Services using MVC Design Patterns
  • Experience developing single-page-app using AngularJS or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience using Source Control software (Ex: GIT, VS TeamServices)
  • Experience developing and deployed .Net based Microservices is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure, Amazon or other cloud technology driven .Net development.
  • Experience with implementing authentication and authorization protocols for web apps or web services (Ex: JWT, OAuth or equivalent).

  • BS/BA in Computer Science preferred.
