PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
This will be a telecommute position in Los Angles, CA.
Manages the operation of solar facilities in a safe, reliable and efficient manner.
Represents solar project towards external parties such as investors, public authorities, grid operator and others.
Plans, directs and coordinates activities of solar projects to ensure that goals/objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters.
Directs and manages multiple solar sites and contractors; Takes responsibility for project controlling.
Manage customer service, relationships, contracts, etc.
Assists project development, design management and construction to ensure solar operations will meet all contractual obligations/performance guarantees.
Manage all solar O&M activities in designated project portfolio to maximize system performance.
5 years experience overseeing commercial solar generating facilities of various technologies.
Proven knowledge of electronics, AC/DC circuitry and distribution.
Demonstrated ability in managing projects: installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Understanding of utility interconnections, metering requirements and data acquisition systems.
Proficient in the use of computer based applications; including Excel, Word, Outlook and project database applications.
Experience in handling high stress situations where tact and cooperation are crucial to cost-effective operation.
Experience in directing, supervising, assigning and directing work and addressing complaints.
Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle
All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English.
May include frequent or unexpected overnight travel to customer facilities via auto or air travel.
