Job Description

Project Objectives & Overview:

Conduct and facilitate analysis and planning for a smooth migration of current email marketing platform from a vendor managed SalesForce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) environment leveraging RedPoint Interaction on MS SQL Server to an in-house developed database using Adobe Campaign for omni-channel marketing.

High-level Summary of Scope and Tasks:

Email Migration Prep
• Assess all email sender domains for deliverability and migration readiness

oEvaluate sender domain and IP reputation score
oDetermine send volume benchmarks and minimum thresholds
oDocument campaign calendar cadence and volumes
oDevelop campaign complexity and LOE estimate

Data Analysis
• Conduct mid-level analysis to determine
oConsumer data volumes and historic record counts to be migrated
oData integrity, validity, completeness and duplication rates within and across data sets
oNumber of entities, attributes and records to be migrated internally
oData structure and level of change in source to

target mapping
oIdentify data migration risks and document mitigation approaches

Marketing Operations Preparation
• Roles, responsibilities, skillsets and operational structure assessment
oIdentify lead and support resource roles for marketing operations & execution
oDefine role types, skills/experience required, standard tasks and allocation level
oDocument operational development, QA and execution process flows
oReview operational communication plan and success criteria (KPIs)

Strategic Roll-out Plan and Approach Options
• Define best practices for brand level roll-out and cut-over
oCreate risk/benefit assessment for email migration and IP warm-up and parallel runs
oDocument sender domain & IP strategy (dedicated/shared)
oAdvise on unit, system, integration user acceptance testing for go/no go decisioning
oReview and consult on user training and cut-over schedule

oDevelop fallback plan options and criteria

Project Resource Responsibilities, Skills & Experience:
Expected Responsibilities
• Work with the email marketing team, and internal stakeholders to understand key campaign parameters and inputs, such as subscriber audience, program frequency
• Provide technical consultation on Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform to email marketing team members and internal clients.
• Develop and conduct data and email campaign testing and validation
• Validation of technical design specs and solution architecture
• Lead customer facing discussions, manage open issues and decision/consensus process
• Analyze and contribute to project requirements, technical and design specifications and test plans
• Identify gaps and design marketing operations processes, workflows, and procedures if needed
• Provide best practices and knowledge transfer
• Develop proto-type solutions for group review and discussion
• Work collaboratively across business, technical groups and with vendor agencies

Skills/Experience
• Experience with at least one ESP migration or stood a new one up from end-to-to-end
• Expert in CRM marketing integrations
• Prior end-to-end implementation of SalesForce Marketing Cloud and/or Adobe Campaign
• Experience with SQL, scripting languages, APIs and relational databases
• Knowledge of best practices in email coding a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong data analytics capabilities
• Experience in all phases of CRM solution implementation from design to delivery, acceptance and operations
• Extensive knowledge in omni-channel campaign management workflow development
