We are looking for a technical rainmaker to help us massively scale one of our fastest-growing products. You will play a pivotal role in changing the way sales professionals do their jobs by joining the LinkedIn Sales Solutions team! Our flagship product for sales professionals, Sales Navigator, is leading the revolution for social selling by connecting buyers and sellers in a whole new way. Serving both large enterprises and individual consumers, Sales Navigator is a SaaS product that helps sales professionals target the right people, understand their accounts, and engage at the right time.
If you're a proven technical leader, who's just as comfortable with customer-facing web applications as you are with Big Data, this is the career opportunity for you. This position is full-time, and based in either our Sunnyvale or San Francisco offices.
Develop deep expertise in LinkedIn's proprietary and open-source technology stack. Influence, advise and review all of the technical designs produced by Sales Solutions engineers Identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity. Mentor your teammates, assisting them in reaching the next stage of their technical development. Coordinate technical strategy with teams across LinkedIn Engineering.
Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related technical field.
8+ years of relevant programming skills. 1+ years of contiguous experience working on a single product line (through multiple release cycles). Experience with software deployments across multiple data centers. Experience with industry-standard distributed computing paradigms (e. . Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Storm). Experience with large-scale deployment of an RDBMS (e. . MySQL, Oracle) - at least dozens of nodes and 10k+ QPS. Experience with microservice architectures. Knowledge of industry-standard search systems (e. . Lucene/SOLR, Elasticsearch).
