The Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for measuring and evaluating the nature of financial risks inherent to The Coca-Cola Company's operations and for developing and optimizing models to continuously mitigate the impact. This role serves as a subject matter expert on global economic outlook and risk mitigation for a specific foreign currency portfolio and works cross-functionally with other finance associates.
The Corporate Treasury Department is a dynamic, fast paced organization. As such, the ideal candidate will have a passionate interest in the financial markets, and an inherent curiosity and capability to statistically measure and analyze how activities in economic, regulatory, and political environments impact both the broader financial markets and The Coca-Cola Company's exposure within them.
Function Related Activities / Key Responsibilities:
-Monitor and analyze economic and market information to determine potential impacts on foreign
currency and other markets.
-Manage specific currency risk including collection, execution, and reconciliation of P&L risk related to specific programs.
-Develop, present, and execute risk management strategies using financial hedge instruments including spot, forwards, options, and combination structures for a specific currency.
-Lead optimization of processes, controls, and reporting within the Treasury Management System for FX transactions.
-Responsible for market execution of FX transactions in the market including entry into and reconciliation of Treasury Management System.
-Prepare and present updates to executive management.
-Assist corporate finance groups with monthly financial reporting requirements for FX activity.
-Participate in special projects to support the long term strategy of the Treasury department.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or other related field is required
Related Work Experience:
This role requires a comfort level, knowledge and expertise in foreign exchange markets in order to function successfully. A minimum 3 years of experience in relevant financial markets roles is required, as well as an understanding of financial accounting principles and business statistics.
Strong MS Excel skills with emphasis on quantitative analysis
Bloomberg terminal experience a plus
