The Stability Planner will:
In a team setting, and cGMP environment, primary responsibilities include the following support roles within the Quality Control Laboratories:
Includes working directly with various departments within the site to help develop, coordinate, and monitor appropriate testing schedules to ensure customer needs are met with the appropriate priorities given. This role is also responsible for determining and maintaining the lab’s capacity based on changing volumes and headcount. Will work closely with all lab supervisors, managers, planning teams and partners/affiliates as a single point of contact and key liaison for all laboratory groups at the site with respect to Laboratory Planning responsibilities.
: Responsible for ensuring the Department’s metrics are collected and reported as required. Is an SME in terms of performance management and continuous improvement, and acts as the main point of contact with respect to deploying/implementing/maintaining a Laboratory Planning & Scheduling system.
Supports Laboratory management in terms of managing the Department’s budget, which will include tracking and reporting laboratory spend, assisting with Capital Appropriation Requests, working in the Instantis system, etc.
Supports migration of local testing to preferred suppliers. Helps implement a flex resource strategy (e.g. insourcing/outsourcing). Will also work with other JSC sites within the network to support the global needs (JSC ONE Lab), as required.Qualifications
•A minimum of Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in a related science field is required.
•A minimum of 5 years’ experience (e.g., Stability testing Laboratory ) in an analytical laboratory (e.g., Stability testing Laboratory) is required.
•A minimum of 2 years’ experience planning testing, contract lab oversight or project management using tools (e.g., MS Project, Lean tools, excel) is preferred.
•Experience for conducting and documenting investigations is required.
•Weekly travel between the Raritan and Titusville laboratories is required.
•Experience in oversight of contract labs is preferred.
•Preferred knowledge of fiscal concepts for oversight of budget is preferred.
•Demonstrated performance of conducting and/or documenting investigations is preferred.
•Demonstrated performance in Process Excellence or Lean concepts is preferred.
•Experience with Instantis software is preferred.Primary Location
