Job Description
Eaton Power Systems has a 3 shift Stacker opening In Waukesha, WI (Badger Dr).
The team member is responsible for production of all types of Transformers in a continuous flow environment to meet the agreed upon customer requirements. This position will be responsible for the core coil assembly & kitting process, though low-voltage lead assembly.  Responsible for performing the various job functions as described in the job description at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality. Operators must be willing to perform various duties and assist all other team members as needed to meet Takt Time of Transformers through the continuous flow line. 
Low voltage lead assembly
a. Perform a visual inspection of the previous operation for defects.
b. Completes the assembly of low voltage lead assembly as directed on the OPS.
c. Required to pass the Cooper Power System process qualification test.
d. One year technical school diploma in mig and arc welding or equivalent experience.
2. Core coil assembly
a. Perform a visual inspection of the previous operation for defects.
b. Completes core coil assembly per the requirements as directed on the OPS.
3. Core and coil assembly kitting
a. Perform a visual inspection of the previous operation for defects.
b. Completes kit assembly including items as directed on the OPS.
4. Production support assembly
a. Perform a visual inspection of components used at this station.
b. Building of sub assemblies to be delivered to other areas of the continuous flow process.
c. Self-inspection on all tasks performed.
5. Field return/ Repair assembly
a. Repair units and components that have failed test, are defective, or require other needed changes.
b. Participate in teardown, repair and modification of customer supplied equipment as directed by the engineering or quality departments.
 
 


Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
• A high school diploma or GED (General Education Degree) is required.
• The ability to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship is required.
•No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within the 50 miles of the work location in order to be considered.
•A minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
