The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will be responsible for Sales and Margin planning and reporting, including required analytics, for the Waukesha product lines within GE Distributed Power (DP).
In this role, you will partner directly with the Distributed Power FP&A Manager and the Waukesha GSCM Finance leader and respective operational partners to ensure timely business reporting for key operational metrics. You will drive the alignment of unit sales, timing and risk and opportunities between Order-To-Remittance, Supply Chain and Commercial for both planning and execution.
As the Staff FP&A Analyst, you will:
+ Lead the overall financial planning and analytics for the Waukesha product line
+ Partner with senior operational and finance leaders to ensure integrated reporting to meet financial commitments and goals
+ Build and maintain FP&A analytics framework in close coordination with colleagues in Jenbach, Austria
+ Own quarterly and annual forecasts for main indicators (units, sales and margin) to drive business performance
+ Track, review and report quarterly engine sales and margin by product line for Waukesha including risk & opportunities (R&O's)
+ Support quarterly financial closing for the Waukesha site and DP financial reporting (US GAAP)
+ Use deep GE & domain knowledge to drive process improvements and automated analytical/digital tools
+ Provide leadership on key initiatives and drive simplification projects that will facilitate and increase capacity for value-added financial analysis
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a finance role)
+ Minimum of 3 additional years of finance experience
+ Ability to work cross-functionally and with distributed teams
+ Hands-on approach and autonomous in work
+ Strong accounting and analytical skills
+ Ability to challenge existing processes, problem solving
+ Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
+ Strong ERP experience (Oracle / Hyperion)
+ Proficient use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
+ Experience with industrial products/businesses
+ FMP graduates (GE Employees Only)
