Work on building products that are customer backed solutions which incorporate Wall of Analytics. Capture system level requirements by brainstorming with Architects/Product Managers. Identify the scope of the work, provide initial estimate and justify the estimate with facts. Work with Agile software development lifecycle and distinguish the core inputs and outputs in each cycle. Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas. Work with peers in technical design and development team. Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation. Seek and provide feedback on design and development. Work with whole product, its modules and the interrelationship between them while being an expert in the assigned component or module. Help in designing interfaces and information exchange between modules. Serve as an expert in Agile processes/methodologies and skilled in build, release & deployment processes design. Articulate the need for scalability and improve quality through testing. Serve as an expert in writing code that meets standards and deliver the desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. Drive design reviews, define interfaces between code modules, and applies existing technology to designs. Serve as an expert in assessing application performance and optimizing/improving it through design and best coding practices. Serve as an expert in core data structures and algorithms to implement them using language of choice. Participate in testing efforts as needed.
Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any), and Math], and 8 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree experience in related occupation required. The position also requires 4 years development experience in Core Java, Spring, Hibernate; 7 years experience with Enterprise Application Architecture & Design; 7 years experience using tools like Eclipse, Perforce, Maven/Ant, and Bamboo or Cruise control; 7 years experience with unit testing using JUnit and mock frameworks; 7 years experience in Agile development practices: Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Scrum; 5 years experience in WebServices using SOAP and RESTful frameworks; and 4 years experience designing (High Level & Low Level) for J2EE applications using UML and various J2EE/OO Design patterns meeting performance and security requirements.
