Role Summary:

This role will be reporting into Digital Connect and responsible for driving Digital connect integration projects, using a globally distributed team of GE employees and contractors. He/she will follow the Digital Connect technology standards to lead and guide the design / development teams for implementation of enterprise application integrations using (but not restricted to) ORACLE SOA Suite and some of the next generation cloud integration platforms such as ORACLE ICS, DellBoomi, SOA CS etc.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Manages all aspects of one or more small to medium projects concurrently from initiation through closure using digital connect recommended project methodologies - such as waterfall, iterative, agile, fastworks, hybrid etc.

+ Leads a team of GE employees and contractors to deliver the middleware integration development projects and other internal initiatives as needed to meet the organizational goals.

+ Manages daily project activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams in order to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, as-requested by customer

+ Owns the overall resource management for the end to end Integration delivery, which includes developing project resource estimates, allocations, approving time reports, training/transition plans, technical coordination, issue resolution.

+ Develops, sells and implements comprehensive project plans, encompassing project team structure and resource assignment, implementation, testing and training plans, creation of a control plan identifying both business process metrics and IT platform quality requirements and ensuring successful transition to support and maintenance teams

+ Responsible for regular project status reporting to all the project stakeholders

+ Learn and understand digital connect project management related processes and tools.

+ Owns all project risk; including time, budget, and scope, and the associated plans to contain and/or mitigate risk

+ Identifies critical path decisions, makes recommendations and influences program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback

+ Aware of and comply with the GE's Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

+ Work to identify and implement process improvements, establish tools and standards.

+ Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

+ BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent

+ Minimum 5 years IT experience of which three years in technical project management or equivalent

Eligibility Requirements

+ Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

Desired Characteristics:

+ Experience with Integration technologies, cloud ERPs

+ Experience of working with PMO, process improvement techniques,

+ Experience with defect management tools such as Quality Center (ALM)

+ Leadership Training Program Experience (IMLP, OMLP, FMP)

+ Lean experience

+ PMP / ITIL certified

+ Experience with SOA/cloud application Integration projects

+ Knowledge of software development life cycle, Service Oriented Architecture and project management methodologies (Agile, waterfall, scrum etc.)

+ Experience with one or more of the project management tools such as MS Project, Rally, ALM, Smartsheet etc.

+ Broad understanding of n-tier application architecture

+ Experience with process quality methodology and tools

+ Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication

+ Project management experience in global environments

+ Awareness of and ability to deliver compliance requirements

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface and influence at all levels in the organization

+ Demonstrated ability to excel in a global matrix organization

+ Strong leadership skills

+ Analytic, creative and business focused problem solver\#DTR
