Lead a small to mid-sized cross-functional program team to deliver technical content, performance, intellectual property and quality deliverables of a new product development or design change programs. Ensure product programs achieving all design objectives required to meet customer and business needs. Ensure that the quality targets are satisfied and retire technical risks as they arise on the program. Lead the Agile design control process from requirements development and design planning to design transfer. Ensure the quality of the scrum team work products through development, verification, and validation. Develop requirements flow down, architecture/system design and analysis, risk analysis, integration and testing coverage. Drive the vision and design requirements for the product while balancing product risks, usability, security, serviceability and quality. Drive initiatives such as defining coding standards, and processes to ensure quality code is produced. Serve as a change agent for continuous improvement, innovation and simplification. Drive usability related activities for product development to comply with the quality management system requirements.
Bachelor's Degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math], and eight (8) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor's degree experience in related occupation required. The position also requires 8 years of professional experience in software development industry; 3 years experience driving CTQ flow-down to subsystems; 3 years experience implementing product platform/subsystem multi-generation technology plan for a specific release of a global program/product; and 7 years experience with HW/SW/Systems design and technical depth in one or more engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, etc).
