This position is located onsite in Chicago, IL
Responsible for ensuring that company product areas meet regulatory requirements in all 50 states as well as federal regulations. This includes Medicare Part D rules and regulations. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Advising functional infrastructure and functional experts and providing project support to all functional areas of the business unit.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with client contracts, partner contracts (e.g., retail networks, pharmaceutical manufacturers) and vendor contracts.
Responsible for performing risk assessments and implementing and maintaining controls.
Coordinates with Internal Audit to direct and prioritize audits / investigations and business process evaluations to identify exposures to regulatory, financial or programmatic risks.
Responsible for the creation of policies & procedures that cross functional areas, monitoring of compliance to those policies & procedures, development and oversight of improvement plans when existing policies / procedures fail to meet the needs of the business.
Participates as a leader and subject matter expert on enterprise-wide mandated projects and achieves business operational compliance with all measures relative to HIPAA, SOX, and Privacy & Security Office initiatives.
Requires a BA/BS degree, 10 years compliance experience, 6 years management experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
