Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Dental customer service, data entry, claims processing and adjustments, grievance resolutionand appeals,operations special services,business information management, output and intake processes, performance auditand oversight andcoordination ofenrollmentfor theDental organization including both owned and managed partner business.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Support the dental business plan in a cost effective and efficient manner, leveraging innovation, system, processes, procedures and metrics to perform with excellence meeting or exceeding service level targets, key performance metrics and group or partner performance guarantees.
Manage system integration and implementation across multiple operating platforms. Manage operating plans, business process mapping, operational documentation and thebusiness continuation plan.
Develop staffing models that meet service requirements and project future staffing requirements based on changing criteria and parameters
Collaborate with Specialty and Enterprise counterparts to promote consistency in approach, align structure and leverage tools, training materials and messaging as applicable.
Develop budget and annual operating plans for administrative improvements and deliver innovative efficiencies.
Execute change across a very complicated business and technical infrastructure, with associates that span geographies and multiple platforms.
Develops and executes cultural change in alignment with the broader Anthem culture and values.
Conduct excellent customer service to meet or exceed regulatory requirement, customer expectations internal performance standards, and external performance guarantees.
Reduce cost of care through effective program management and resolve grievances timely and in conformance with laws, rules and regulations.
Represent Dental organization as a subject matter expert to existing or prospective clients at the group or partner level.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires BA/BS in related field; 10 years of professional/leadership experience in healthcare operations; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Previous experience leading a Dental business operations area(s) strongly preferred.
