Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate with relevant Anthem departments to develop and implement a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy for Anthem's portfolio of payment innovations.
Develop and sustain relationships with key industry thought leaders, professional societies, media, and trade organizations to promote Anthem's portfolio of payment innovations. This includes management of the Health Care Delivery Advisory Group of 40 leading health care CEOs, among other activities.
Advise the Vice President and Staff Vice President on the design of the payment innovation portfolio
Coordinate with relevant Anthem departments to track and influence public policy and debates relevant to payment innovations.
Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope.
Leads efforts to identify best practices. Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
Designs methods for integrating function and process.
Conducts cost/benefit analyses. - Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
1. Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 5-8 years of process or project related experience that includes experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 3 years of health policy experience and familiarity with payment reform in public or private sectors.
Additional skills preferred include:
Master's Degree in Health Policy, Population Health Management, Health Care Law, or related studies preferred.
Experience working across multiple functional areas to achieve a common business purpose
Experience working on large enterprise projects
Track record delivering on time/on budget initiatives
Excellent coordination, documentation and organizational skills - communication and relationship building skills. - Communication background preferred.
Policy knowledge and familiarity with the key national bodies in Healthcare (Medical Society, Trade Associations) and policy organization preferred.
