Position: Scientist Statistician (Ref.# 9339)

Duties: Provide statistical support to a wide variety of activities within Process Development by drawing on knowledge or experience with: JMP® statistical software; statistical models including general linear models, mixed models, non-linear models; Design of Experiments (DOEs) including full factorial, fractional factorial, definitive screening, response surface, custom design. Provide primary statistical support in experimental design, analysis of results, presentation of results, risk assessments for process development and process characterization activities. Support analysis and interpretation of results for methods development within the Process Development Analytics group. Provide statistical support for technical documents including development/tech transfer reports and regulatory submissions. Assist in improving workflows. Represent the Process Development group on cross-functional teams and in presentations to senior management. Mentor and teach colleagues in statistical methodologies. Establish collaborations with colleagues in Manufacturing Science and Technology, Manufacturing Support, various Manufacturing sites, and other Research and Development functions.

Requirements: Doctorate degree in Statistics or a related field plus knowledge of skill set described above gained throughout the advanced degree program. In lieu of Doctorate degree, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Statistics or a related field plus 3 years of relevant post-Master's degree experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above.
