The Strategic Account Executive is a consultative field sales position within our Spectrum Enterprise B2B sales team. Individuals in this position are responsible for selling voice, data, cloud and video services to new and existing customers. Strategic Account Executives are responsible for creating developing long-term relationships with new and existing customers in the Large Enterprise space. Both high level technical discussions and C-Level business conversations will be required to be successful in this role. The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for selling Dedicated Fiber based services to Enterprise clients, including point to point Ethernet connections, Dedicated Internet Access, WiFi, Voice Services, Managed Services, Cloud Services and Video.

Responsible for cultivating and maintaining key business to business relationships with Large Enterprise accounts within your assigned territory/market segment to sell Spectrum Enterprise services into Large Enterprise Accounts.
Responsible for achieving a monthly revenue quota in data, phone, cloud and video sales.
Identifying target markets, industries, and contacts for our Enterprise product portfolio.
Position involves significant field sales activities with travel to customer locations expected as often as daily.
Strong Cold Calling (prospecting / door knocking) for new clients – AKA Hunter.
Network with area peers to acquire referrals
Writing and presenting professional, organized proposals.
Negotiating contracts with CEO/CTO level Executives.
Project Management of sales cycle activities and service implementation
Maintaining and reporting sales activity, including Funnels, Sales Call Activity, 30/60/90 day forecasts.
Developing customer centric solutions and delivering sales proposals on product features and benefits.
Consistently achieve Monthly Sales Quota.
Building and maintaining relationships in the Corporate and IT Community.
Perform other duties as requested by manager.

ICOMS/CSG or other billing system experience experience
Strong sales level knowledge of complex services
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multitask, as well as work efficiently and effectively within required deadlines
The ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge, along with the ability to work in a team environment

Valid and active State driver’s license and safe driving record required.
Attends all sales meetings and training sessions as required by management

Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited organization required; Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred (Business-related field).

Four or more years of B2B sales experience selling data, voice, cloud and/or video solutions to multi location enterprise accounts
Experience in selling to corporate Executives Experience in outside sales to Enterprise, Healthcare, State & Local Government, &/or Education
Experience negotiating Master Service Agreements
Experience in financial/business benefits selling
Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
Familiarity with business software and hardware applications and Intranets.
Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and equipment. Routers, Switches, Frame Relay, ATM, SONET and Ethernet.
Understanding need and function of network security and firewalls.
Telephony experience in selling Trunking products such as T1, PRI, and SIP.
Knowledge and understanding of the role of Network facilities in a Corporate Environment in support of Telephony requirements (such as call centers).
