As the Strategic Analytics Advisor you will assist with key analytical and strategic insights to drive business decisions across brand pharmaceutical purchasing, wholesaler management, contract management, and operations.

You will stay abreast of new topics within the pharmaceutical industry in order to meet dynamic business requirements and support a variety of business owners. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing complex, but flexible quantitative analyses for pharmaceutical purchasing across CVS Health’s Retail, Mail, and Specialty Pharmacy divisions;
  • Working independently and collaboratively across department lines to produce thorough and consistent metrics;
  • Integrating data from a range of sources and effectively communicating the implications of your analytical finding;
  • Developing recommendations for high-visibility decisions based on data, business intelligence, and critical thinking;
  • Building articulate and high-quality presentations with cohesive messaging to persuasively present to management;
  • Researching and analyzing the impact of intricate business issues associated with the pharmaceutical market, including market dynamics, product pipelines, FDA actions, and regulatory changes;
  • Driving projects related to a wide range of pharmaceutical purchasing responsibilities, from inception to completion.


Required Qualifications:
  • 3 years of management consulting experience or a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated analytical expertise delivering strategic insights and recommendations for complex business issues preferably within the healthcare or retail industry.
  • 2 years of advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and working knowledge of Access.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Healthcare and/or retail experience;
  • Strong experience with MS Excel and PPT
  • Experience with Tableau, Access &/or MicroStrategy preferred


Education:
Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or other business-related discipline.
