Department Overview The Strategic Sourcing Analyst II gathers and analyzes key performance metrics for the Sourcing Department. The job collects information relative to demand, budget, and vendors including pricing, scoring, and savings to assist in making recommendations on vendor selection Job Description •Provides a range of analytical support to strategic sourcing management, category teams and various business partners using specialized MS Access databases and/or internal systems (e.g. AP Oracle and General Ledger systems).

•Designs and develops monthly reports from the database(s) to meet the changing needs of Senior Management, Sourcing Professional and US & CDN Finance and various Lines of Business.

•Ensures database(s) and structure can capture on-demand management reporting.

•Assists in the maintenance of custom mapping tables/taxonomies used internally to enhance raw third-party spend data.

•Provides subject matter expertise on third-party spend data (top vendor, spend category or general ledger).

•Provides advice to sourcing teams on how to use the spend databases/portal information to assess respective category spend, historic vendor spend and spend by general ledger.

•Assists in maintaining North American vendor naming methodology.

•Interfaces with internal SSG functional groups (Sourcing Management, Sourcing Category Teams and other Centers of Excellence) on analytical, reporting and other due diligence requests.

•Assists with the review and validation of savings calculations, various metrics and dash boarding used to track sourcing initiatives, savings generated and variance to goals.

•Researches and analyzes new reporting requirements and new category spending.

•Keeps the team informed of all relevant information and shares knowledge/expertise Job Requirements •Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/MIS or Business Administration

•3-5 years relevant work experience helpful but not necessary

•Need to be able to understand VBA (Visual basic) code

•Excellent people, communication and presentation skills

•Demonstrated experience with complex management reporting environments

•Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

•Exceptional quality assurance and attention to detail

•In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing lifecycle and practices

•In-depth knowledge of the TDBG organizational structure, General Ledger & Accounts Payable System

Expertise with applications: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and/or other office tools

•Demonstrated ability to develop, edit and customize reports in complex MS Access environment Inclusiveness
