Position Description Summary:
Under general direction of the intern management/mentor of the AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group, an intern will assist with a variety of business specific job assignments and contributes to the completion of established projects and initiatives.

Sales Support opportunities include the following: (Key information will be provided during phone interview)

  • Assist with data entry, provide data clean up with all accounts and feed back to marketing for campaigns.
  • Provide back up with sales calls on assigned accounts.
  • Provide assistance in flu and contrast sales.
  • Produce analysis on activity and results on a weekly basis.
  • Make calls on specific accounts to emphasize newly launched products.
  • Keep all activity in SalesForce.
  • Assist with discretionary activity with ASD Sales, National Accounts, & Cubixx.
Program Dates: June 5th to August 11th (all opportunities in Frisco, Texas)


Qualifications:
Minimum Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Students must be a Sophomore, Junior or rising Senior
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering Science, and/or Healthcare preferred
  • Previous internship experience preferred

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:
  1. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  2. Good project management skills
  3. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills
  4. Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
  5. Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple tasks at one time
  6. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
