Global Operations (Global Ops) focuses on creating positive experiences for MetLife customers and helping the company make the best use of its global resources. We’re looking for unique talent with fresh perspectives that can propel innovation. In this role you will supervise a team primarily responsible for processing system generated error and other reports, updating group life insurance records, processing incoming and generating outgoing written and e-mail correspondence, and handling referrals from other areas.


  • Supervises day-to-day activities of a small team or work group.
  • Leads and works alongside staff for assigned plans; resolves complex problems and eases workloads during peak volume periods.
  • Monitors staff quality and productivity and ensures that service levels are maintained.
  • May be designated as the primary operations contact for the largest plans.
  • Seeks and implements process improvements
  • Motivates team in a dynamic work environment
  • Assists in managing people, including making recommendations regarding hiring, firing, promotions, performance and compensation management, and training and developments


  • 2+ years related experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Prior Leadership experience
  • Demonstrated critical thinking in activities requiring analysis and investigation
  • High School Diploma
  • College Degree Preferred
