North Florida Regional Healthcare is an organization centered around the community hospitals in Gainesville, Florida -- North Florida Regional Medical Center (NFRMC). NFRMC is a 432-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving North Central Florida and offering comprehensive cardiovascular care , oncology , orthopedics , neurosciences , minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery , weight loss surgery and treatment , women's health and wound therapy , among other services.
Oversees operations in Ultrasound. Schedules Staff, organizes work flows, mentors and coaches staff, works with students to ensure they have an effective clinical experience, works with radiologists to ensure procedures are performed in a manner maximizing diagnostic benefit, performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures using ultrasound for screening, diagnostic, and therapeutic purposes. Expertly utilizes Ultrasound System settings and functionality to optimize ultrasound images.
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately)
Graduation from an approved Ultrasound Program or equivalent education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: (list required and preferred separately)
Preferred: Two years of Supervisory Experience
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Proven knowledge and abilities in Diagnostic Sonography. ability to supervise and direct staff, Demonstrated communications and customer service skills, success in organizing work, computer skills, and ability to multi-task.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: (list required and preferred separately)
Required: ARDMS Registered. BLS.
Preferred: Vascular Registry (if not in place, must be obtained within one year of hire)
