Position Summary:
As a Clinical Operations Supervisor, you will assist pharmacists, technicians, and representatives in all aspects of coverage determination and appeal process. In this Supervisor role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for issues requiring escalation within the Clinical Operations Department to ensure resolution. You will also maintain department metrics and provide coaching/development and evaluation for staff. As a Supervisor you will also manage workflow and direct communication to internal and external partners.
Additional responsibilities of a Clinical Operations Supervisor include:
- Managing staff performance by maintaining and evaluating metrics, staff coaching and development
- Managing daily operations including workflow
- Acting as a liaison for Clinical Operations with support areas
- Providing optimal customer service within applicable departmental and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of previous supervisory or equivalent leadership experience is required for this position

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Medicare Part D
  • 2 + years of Supervisory experience Strong leadership, organizational, communication and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Well organized and effectively able to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet departmental and regulatory requirements

  • Verifiable GED or High School Diploma is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
