Supply Business Analyst - Program Decision Support

Primary Purpose:

Staff level position within Supply Business Operations’ Analytics and Decision Support team that provides financial, analytical and system expertise to Exelon’s Supply Chain function.  This position is available to broaden an individual’s knowledge and background for future growth within Supply Business Operations or movement into Strategic Supply / Supply Operations groups.  


Provide financial and analytical expertise to support best in class category management; this includes insight into market intelligence, guidance on supplier risk management best practices, as well as visibility into spend and diverse spend across Exelon

Support strategic sourcing activities by providing financial analytical support (ie pricing analysis, make vs buy, should cost analyses) that deliver savings to the enterprise and assist in the validation and tracking of Supply driven savings.

Support the implementation of programs and processes, including developing standardized and automated reporting that support monitoring and analysis of the Supply Chain processes and key performance indicators

Contribute to the implementation of key Supply deliverable and initiatives by participating on cross functional project teams in support of continuous improvement to business processes leveraging existing and new technologies and/or systems and establishing best practices.

Support the ongoing training and efficient use of Exelon Supply Procure to Pay Systems

Support the Business Units' Emergency and Storm Response activities as assigned



Position supporting activities may extend into multiple areas of the Exelon Supply Organization (Supply Operations, Strategic Sourcing, Reporting and Analysis, Supply Systems, Performance Metrics)

Travel across Exelon sites and business units, as business needs dictate.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain management , finance or related field with two (2) to five (5) years experience
  • Strong analytical, technical, communication and writing skills
  • Strengths in organization and planning as well as agility in managing multiple priorities


  • MBA
