Position Descriptions :
The supply chain Intern will work in multi-discipline teams within Baxter's supply chain function. During their time with Baxter, the supply chain intern may be assigned to assist in performing support such as: root cause, predictive analytics, total delivered cost modeling, LEAN initiatives, and cost value projects across the US and Canadian supply chains.

The internship will allow the student to gain hands-on experience with different aspects of development. In addition, the intern will receive mentoring from his/her manager and teammates. The experience and mentoring will complement the student's studies to prepare them for a successful supply chain career. Supply chain interns that excel in the Internship Program will be considered for full-time positions

Qualifications :
Baxter evaluates undergraduate candidates based on the same criteria as entry-level employees, which includes grade point average, leadership abilities, communication skills and relevant coursework. Specifically, Baxter looks for interns who have:
• Primary degree Supply Chain specific focus
• A grade point average of 3.0 or higher (on 4.0 scale ) ;
• A diverse set of extracurricular activities;
• At least two years of college and are enrolled in school the semester following their internship
