Supply Chain Manager : Consulting and Professional Services
The person filling this role will be expected to manage procurement needs for Consulting & Professional Services on our Non-Associate Labor (NAL) team. This role is responsible for ensuring that Enterprise Supplier Management is delivering value to our internal customers while respecting the policies and procedures that govern the transaction/relationship.
This individual is expected to develop Non-Associate Labor sourcing strategies, supplier communications, request for proposals (and related due diligence), cost analytics, supply market analysis, deal strategy, pricing strategy, deal negotiations (contract terms and conditions, scopes of work, pricing, service levels, etc.), contract development, and contract administration. They are also expected to act as a central point of contact for a transaction and is responsible for engaging all the internal parties relevant to a given supplier transaction.
In addition, this individual will be expected to effectively support management od the category and the unique reporting, comparative analysis and ongoing supplier maintenance requirements of the Non-Associate (Contingent) Labor space. This activity includes, but is not limited to: the maintenance of Preferred Supplier Pools (PSPs) by segment and tier; the maintenance of supplier rate cards with comparables to market peers and industry benchmarks; quarterly PSP reviews (supplier performance and need for new PSP supplier participants); ongoing evaluation of supplier competencies to ensure service coverage and alignment; ongoing evaluation of the service provider market (best practices, emerging trends); ongoing evaluation of supplier rate cards by role; reporting related to:
· PSP spend, active engagements, sourcing history
· Savings and validation process
· Channel management activity
· Demand management activity
This individual will have senior customers throughout the organization, so excellent influencing and communication skills are a must. At Capital One, Supply Chain Managers are expected to work in a collaborative environment with internal customers as well with other groups within company.
