A new Supply Planning organization has been formed to develop greater flexibility and deep supply visibility that can adapt to varied business models and an increasingly complex business environment.

We are seeking highly-talented supply chain professionals can strengthen our capabilities in this new function and help enable the broader business objectives.

The Senior Supply Chain manager will work with all Operations functions, support both the commercial and Cloud business, and rapidly develop new processes that scale and align with a business growth trajectory. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead a recently-consolidated team of seven Materials Program Managers (MPM), located across three sites. Manage the product Excess & Obsolescence (E&O), including mitigation strategies. Report out to executive management quarterly. Work with the Demand Planning team to validate E&O drivers and outlet options.
• Work with the Demand Planning team to determine assignable cause and inventory outlet opportunities.
• Rapidly re-design and streamline existing processes with a particular emphasis on the E&O forecast projection process and define tool requirements to enable. The objective here is to free up employee bandwidth to create new value.
• Partner closely with your counterpart Senior Manager Supply Planning to develop the integration plan that merges MPM's with Supply Planners into two teams aligned by business, Commercial and Cloud.
• Execute the organizational shift that will modify responsibilities to include both MPM (inventory/excess) and Supply Planning (material availability), with balanced scorecard ownership, for Commercial and for Cloud.
• Develop methodology for monitoring strategic inventory including Tier 2 metrics, re-order points and E&O risk mitigation.

Qualifications:
• College degree or equivalent and five years of managing a supply chain function.
• Ability to learn and integrate vast amounts of data from a variety of tools into a comprehensive analysis and business recommendation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-pace and dynamic environment with a level of ambiguity consistent with new business models.
• Orientation toward rapid process iteration and "try-storming" via an endless series of pilots. This entails the design 80% solutions that are very effective for a short-term and then replaced with the next-level improved version.
• Intensive and rapid people development to embrace new roles and expanded job functions.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and executive-level presentation skills.
• Organizational development and change management skills.

Qualifications:
Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials.

Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions. Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at acceptable levels. Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials, utilities and outside services, as well coordinating global procurement efforts. Coordinates with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory carrying costs. Reviews and plans needs for acceptable inventory. May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the production control system. May work with customers in auditing customer inventory levels and with internal and external vendors to comply with inventory policies. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BA/BS degree preferred.
