Schedule: 1.0, (40 hours per week), Shift: Full-time, no weekends.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include supervising the performance of testing in Histology and pathology areas as required. Prepare specimens from surgery, doctor's offices, inpatients, outpatients and autopsies by embedding, cutting, staining, mounting and properly labeling all slides with coverslips for Pathologists to evaluate and make diagnosis. Must accurately process and prepare all pathology and cytology specimens. Assure accuracy and completeness in quality control. Must demonstrate skills in Histology, including maintaining policy and procedure manual, quality control, maintenance on all equipment and process improvement. Must perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education/Certificates/Licenses: High school diploma or better, with Histology training

Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

  • Other tasks as assigned.
