SWING SHIFT Client/Customer Service; B2B Specialist

Pay Rate/Salary: $15.00-16.00 / Hour
Staffmark is partnered with a Premier Global Logistics Company in North Portland near the Expo Center that is seeking a motivated, temp-to-hire Client Services Business to Business Specialist.

To provide exceptional customer service to clients and ensure efficient daily operation of all distribution accounts.

Hours 1pm � 10pm

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily process and input of all customer orders and distribution accounts.

  • Provide daily operational reports that are accurate and timely.

  • Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders, checks all orders for special requests and posts inventory


  • Perform accurate and timely data entry for receiving, order allocation, shipping

    and inventory management.

  • Coordinate special, last minute shipping requests with the Transportation and

    Operations Departments, expediting any order as necessary.

  • Notify customers of activity concerning their order.

  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.

  • Maintain damage records and backorder logs.

  • Input all receipts, putaways, moves, picks, shipments and cycle counts

  • Communicate effectively with customers as required via phone and email.

  • Provide warehouse staff with necessary documents and information needed to

    complete receiving, and to ship orders.

  • Maintain excellent working relationships with customers by responding to all

    inquiries and complaints concerning work orders, invoices, shipments,

    inventory counts, etc. in a courteous and efficient manner.

  • Report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer


  • Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of

    accounts and between the office and customer

  • Contribute to maintain strong relationships with vendors (trucking companies, and others).

  • Provide support with other miscellaneous projects, filing and research

  • Oversee all paperwork associated with orders and maintain the corresponding files.

  • Maintain a current and accurate DLSOP that details the processing requirements for each account.

  • Answer phone calls according to Expeditors standards

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.

  • This is a long-term position with the chance for hire with the company after 90 days!

    RequirementsEducation: high school degree

    � 1- 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
    education and experience.
    � Previous experience in inventory control and/or distribution operations
    � Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend,
    effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
    � Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
    � Displayed ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    � Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
