System Debug Engineer focusing on DPM root cause and test hole closure

The Debug Process and Closure team is responsible to drive DPM to company goals by debugging PPV escapes and customer returns and developing content to close those test holes. This is a very important quality metric to customers and driving improvement is this area is challenging and very visible to MVE management. The team will have to leverage many different skillsets such as debug and test writing across multiple platforms such as system and ATE.

This engineer needs to be passionate about solving problem and be able to "connect the dots" to solve complicated issues.
BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
Prior Experience on System Debug, PPV, Post silicon functional validation, and/or ATE

Preferred Skills:
Understanding of system architecture and/or micro-architecture for processor, PCH, SOC, Servers.

Proficiency in one or more of the following areas:
Be able to drive system level debug leveraging appropriate tools and architectural knowledge to get root cause of failure.
Post silicon electrical/mixed-signal circuit validation or circuit marginality validation.
Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) test content creation to support test hole closure

Coding skills in
C, C#, C or other OO programming language
In a scripting environment (Python or Perl preferred)

Knowledge in areas such as Semiconductor device physics, Digital electronics, HVM, VLSI design, Assembly/OS programming, Data structures, Statistical data analysis would be a plus.

Experience working in an AGILE environment.
