The System Integrator, Sales Manager is responsible for the overall satisfaction and experience with the services and solutions delivered by Spectrum Enterprise Network Services and Navisite Managed Cloud Solutions to Charter’s client-partners. This role contributes strategic thought and consulting experience earned from doing business with Fortune 500 enterprise organizations across a variety of technologies and disciplines.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Professional experience includes building and leading successful global IT and network consulting practices for a major IT and Network platform leader as well as possessing a broad technical skill set and experience across all aspects of enterprise IT-Network Ecosystems and all layers of the IT-Network solutions stack
•Build and lead technical specialty teams that drive design wins, pacdkage and publish best practices, make new markets for new technologies and drive revenue growth
•Build a business – collaborate with sales leaders and engineering teams to drive design wins and platform adoption on platform specialties like Oracle, Microsoft, VMWare, and SAP. They will provide leadership on various IT and network disciplines such as network architecture, dev-ops implementation, hybrid systems management, application modernization, virtual desktop, big data, machine learning and IOT, collaboration, communication and messaging
•Build and lead great teams – attract top technical talent to build high performing teams of consultants with superior technical depth, and outstanding customer relationship skills, and a career focus on a specific technical specialty. Assemble and develop the very best in the world in each specialty
•Develop partnerships – proactively develop industry solution maps for each technical specialty and engage the leading solution and service providers for each
•Drive collaboration and integration between multiple client-partners to deliver comprehensive solutions for large enterprises
•Make new markets – develop the engagement model for driving the first design wins for the very newest platform IT and network services, to open new market segments and clear the way for cloud-based IT using Navisite and Spectrum Enterprise services in each technology area
•Be a customer advocate – Work with Navisite and Spectrum Enterprise engineering service teams to convey deep technical requirements from client-partners and customers as input to Spectrum Enterprise and Navisite technology roadmaps
•Deliver value – Lead high quality delivery of a variety of deeply technical engagements with client-partners and enterprise customers in the commercial and public sectors, enabling breakthrough business outcomes for customers
•Works with executive advisors and highly technical architects to help Navisite and Spectrum Enterprise client-partners develop technical expertise and capacity
•Works with our client-partners on joint enterprise customer engagements around the world
•Supports our Spectrum Enterprise Network Services and Navisite Sales Teams in applying systems integration capabilities and competencies to identify, engage, capture, generate sales revenue and trade, and manage the delivery of IT and Network Infrastructure Architecture guidance, leading proof-of-concept projects, performing enterprise portfolio assessments, reviewing operational best practices, and conducting skills transfer workshops
•Helps our sales consultants collaborate with customers and client-partners to address security and compliance, performance and scale, availability and manageability
•Supports our sales consultants as they advise customers and client-partners on migrating existing systems and building new systems using the full range of our services.
•Assists with the non-technical change management work on policies, processes and people changes
•Behaves as an experienced leader who builds a global technical specialty team, covering a variety of technical areas
•Has a strong combination of technical experience and people skills
•Collaborates with many Navisite and Spectrum Enterprise engineering teams to introduce and refine new platform IT and network services for large enterprises
•Harvests, packages, and publishes best practices and repeatable offerings to Navisite and Spectrum Enterprise client-partners in each technical specialty to accelerate their transition to a cloud based IT model using our services
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
•Minimum 10+ years of experience in Information Technology, specifically in a role of management or executive leadership
•Experience establishing comprehensive global customer relationships and collaboration across executive technology stakeholders
•Have executed successful projects that show strategic results solving for business, product, and technical challenges
•Consulting practice leadership as manager of managers; team size >80 with related goals/KPI’s
•Experience in IT and Network Systems Integration, Outsourcing and Managed Services, Technology and Operations Management Services, P/L, Human Resource, and multi-vertical industries.
•Deep understanding of cloud computing change management challenges and solutions
•Enterprise architecture successes including virtualization technologies & distributed architecture
•Experience using platform services in distributed environments with Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.
•Experience managing large scale pursuit-capture, complex sales, business development, and ecosystem service delivery in an ITIL framework
•Familiarity with archival, disaster recovery, and business continuity in global operations
•International sales and delivery experience w/ global Fortune 500 enterprise customers and client-partners
•Excellent demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Strong project management skills with ability to set and meet deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in deliverables
•Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
•Ability to effectively delegate and develop team members
•Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
•Visible IT and network industry thought leadership on relevant topics related to cloud-based enterprise IT
•Experience with design of modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services
•Business development experience including complex agreements with integrators and ISVs
•Familiarity with IT and network industry and security standards
•3+ years in IT and network security, compliance & risk management, including privacy, controls, etc.
Experience in Information Technology, specifically in a role of management or executive leadership
•BS/BA degree in engineering and/or computer science – advanced degree preferred
