What you’ll be doing...
The System Performance engineer works with regional performance team in new equipment/feature trials and vendor evaluations. Conducts new product evaluations and develops qualification studies relative to DAS and WiFi deployments.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Ericsson System and OSS experience.
Knowledge of LTE, including VoLTE and RAN Networks.
Even better if you have:
Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering (or degree with a similar rigor).
Positive “Can Do” attitude and be a team player.
Wireless experience in a System Performance context.
Expert level knowledge of RF Design and Optimization preferably for LTE.
Strong data analytics skills with MS Excel programming,
Programming skills in Web Server, Database Server and Visual Studio are big plus.
Knowledge of IP and transport protocols.
Knowledge of propagation and optimization modeling tools such as Planet, GeoPlan, ACP, DB Planner.
Knowledge of 3GPP LTE standards.
Flexibility - Embraces change, Adapts communication style to setting, Investigates and implements alternate approaches to resolve difficult problems. Ability to work well with colleagues and with various departments (Area and HQ Network, Network Operations, Network Engineering, Maintenance Engineering) and vendors to implement changes and troubleshoot.
