Position Description
-Responsible for all aspects of applications and/or systems administration, including implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, problem resolution, testing, usage monitoring & the development of systems infrastructure within Corporate IT Infrastructure -Designs, writes, implements & performs backup & restore procedures & monitors processes -Administers & maintains system stability -Expertise necessary for one or more of the following Platforms: Mainframe, UNIX or Windows

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
2+ years experience in network systems administration
 
Critical Skills
  • Windows Server administration experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • PowerShell experience
  • Experience utilizing SQL commands
  • Self-starter, able to work independently without supervision as well as within teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work well in a team environment
Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • MCSE certification a plus
  • Experience deploying internet-hosted production environments, and familiarity with hosting technologies such as load balancing
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical diploma
