Position Summary:

Manages website vendor, assists in the development of requirements building, and test cases. Plays an important role in troubleshooting website issues & data extract QA before they are released to vendors.

This individual ensures that systems hardware, operating systems, software, and related processes and procedures adhere to organizational and security standards and maintains operational and other procedures.

An independent contributor applying knowledge and expertise in managing the department’s technology infrastructure testing, managing and maintaining technology. These include agent ordering website, Salesforce, Aprimo, and Five9.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the Production, Marketing, and Field Desk to address daily agent ordering website issues.
  • Leads the enhancement of technologies and executes tests using established procedures and test cases; and reports on results.
  • Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external technical issues to improve services.
  • Assist with writing and brainstorming vendor requirements documents for new website initiatives.
  • Monitors the performance of installed technologies.
  • Create test cases for enhancements of application/website and follows up on failed issues.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of tactical plans for billing and sales tracking.
  • Create report templates for users to be able to re-rerun themselves.
  • Database management
  • IT liaison for system issues and provides the department computer support.
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance.

 


Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of MS Access, Excel Showcase, Salesforce, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of marketing ordering tool and Aprimo would be helpful.
  • Experience building reports and linking to data sources
  • Possesses knowledge of the major features and functions of the software used in the management of system infrastructure, and applies that knowledge and judgment to perform maintenance, support, and problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.

     

    Business Knowledge

  • Has knowledge of the different areas of IT, and core IT processes.
  • Understand key drivers; uses knowledge of best practices and trends to improve services, processes and procedures.

  • Solves a broad range of problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Escalates to the correct resource to resolve more complex problems.
  • Independently manages the maintenance and/or upgrades of the agent ordering system, and determines the most appropriate process to follow.

     

    Communication/Contacts

  • Works effectively with IT, Operations, Production, Marketing & Prospecting Desk to ensure the effective coordination of service delivery and problem resolution.
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; collaborates with others to build consensus.

 

Project Role

  • Supports administrative aspects of project work, such as tracking and reporting on project status and outcomes.
  • Participates as a part of the project team with clear direction and defined deliverables.

 

Experience and Education

Typical candidates will possess 3+ years of relevant experience and BA/BS Degree
