Ideally this role will be based in Northern California, however, open to other Pacific Northwest cities for qualified candidates.

Are you a technically minded team player who can visit end users, evaluate facilities, develop solutions, and maintain relationships with key customers? In this demanding role you will be a customer facing Systems Engineer in Northern California with the Enterprise sales team in the Schneider Electric IT Division. Systems Engineers are an integral part of our outside sales teams, and in this role you will be working with an enterprise account manager and inside sales representative.

What would some of your responsibilities include?
  • Manage projects during installation, implementation and commissioning
  • Conduct post-sales technical support to insure customer satisfaction
  • Conduct engineering surveys at customer sites to define project requirements and create engineered solutions
  • Maintain a consistent high level of industry knowledge on critical power and cooling technology

Do you have these key experiences and qualifications?
  • In depth knowledge of data center physical infrastructure including power distribution, precision cooling, IT rack layouts and management software
  • An engineering background
  • 8 years of experience in technical sales or a related field
  • Background in solutions design with an in-depth knowledge of IT Products
