Our client, a well-established telecommunications company, is looking to immediately full-time a Systems Administrator to install, configure and maintain workstations and servers including web servers in support of business processing requirements. You will work for a governmental agency and perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Additionally, the Systems Administrator will schedule the installations and upgrades that need to be maintained in accordance with a company's established network policies. You will also conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and develop and maintain a comprehensive hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation regarding the network to be accessed for future troubleshooting and upgrades. This Systems Administrator position requires a basic knowledge of relational database concepts and substantial experience working with business computer systems in a fast-paced environment. Must have good communication, problem solving, and analytical skills; experience working setting up to build/stand up windows servers and strong experience with VMware.
