Essential Functions • Use toolsets, such as DLP and User Behavior Analytics to protect sensitive information and provide reporting • Conduct internal and External Vulnerability / Pentest assessments • Plan, Create, Implement Quarterly User Audit Access Reviews • Assist and track security metrics for security events and incidents • Define security requirements and review systems to determine if they have been designed to comply with established security standards • Independently identify, Assesses and document system security deficiencies and recommend solutions • Assist in System risk assessments, evaluation of products and review SaaS based services to assesses / address risk • Monitor various security tools to identify potential incidents, network intrusions, cyber, and malware events, etc. To ensure confidentially, integrity and availability of Information Systems are protected 24x7 • Work with the IT Operations Team to ensure security threats are properly identified, analyzed, communicated, addressed and / or defended, investigated and reported to management • Work closely with IT Application and Infrastructure teams to understand business needs and assist with security architecture, secure coding, and design of Information Technology systems o Assesses vendors' security controls to ensure new and existing vendors adequately protect customer information (NPI) o Monitor information security industry developments and advise technical and business personnel on implications o Actively assist the security requirements and design processes associated with the implementation of new and changed business processes and information systems o Investigate and report on information security issues, exposures, and threats and recommend mitigation action o Ensure that security logs and events are monitored and implement appropriate strategies to address any issues arising o May act as a team lead for Security personal Competencies/Skills • Customer/Client Focus. • Problem Solving/Analysis. • Time Management. • Clear and Concise communication • Teamwork Orientation. • Ability to multi-task prioritize effectively and efficiently • Organizational skills and ability to handle confidential material • Identify Issues and create resolutions quickly Work Environment This job operates in a detail oriented office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit for long periods of time is essential. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Extended hours may be required, including on-call 24x7 365 days a year Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or 2-3 years' equivalent experience Proficient with PC and related software such as Excel, Word and Power Point 3+ years of experience in Information Security or Cyber Security Industries preferred One or more certificates (CISA, CISSP, GSEC, CEH) a big plus. Experience working with Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, Traps, Mimecast, Nessus Software / Hardware a plus Knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, AWS technologies 1+ Years PowerShell / Scripting capabilities Knowledge of TCP/IP and related data network protocols Knowledge of security and risk frameworks including NIST, SANS, ISO, PCI, SOX Knowledge of patch management, firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems
