The Talent Management Group drives the overall field strategy relative to the sourcing, selection, and development of Financial Advisor Associates for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. The Talent Acquisition Manager supports this program by supporting the development of recruiting and training processes for qualified individuals seeking a career as a Financial Advisor, including selection tool development and process implementation.


• Track record of success in owning and executing the process to identify and attract talent
• Provide Field Management with standardized tools, resources, and training to source and select quality and diverse Associates
• Develop/implement pilot programs that test alternative sourcing/selection methods
• Partner to develop and implement sourcing strategies and best practices locally
• Augment Field Management sourcing skills to drive local results and improve quality of Associate development
• Foster and grow relationships that develop into true partnerships
• Lead standardized selection process relative to defined Associate profile which includes completion of required assessments
• Help interpret variety of pre-employment assessment tools including Application Tracking System
• Recommend strategies to improve Associate selection and retention
• Drive effective field activity by tracking progress of hiring
• Gather and disseminate competitive information
• Support targeted diversity initiatives
• Process oriented and able to create standardized recruiting processes to improve recruiting efficiency
• Conduct structured interviews

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5-10 years experience in recruiting, selection, and training; experience in Financial Services industry a plus
• Knowledge of recruiting sales professionals
• Understanding of traditional and innovative recruiting methods, selection assessment tools, and hiring/on-boarding procedures
• Experience with employer branding and using social media to attract talent
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability foster strong relationships among the team, with Associates, and with Field Management
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of Salesforce or Jobscience experience a plus
• Experience with HireVue or video interviewing
• Behavioral Interview Certified a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills to assist internal customers in resolving issues while maintaining necessary confidentiality
