Team Tech is responsible for providing effective customer service to all internal and external customers by maintaining an in-depth understanding of company procedures and services. He/she is the �face of� or representative of Kimura operations and as such is expected to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers/vendors.
The tech will act as a liaison between external and internal customers and assist with orders, errors, schedule/material questions, shipping schedules and other queries. The team member will be responsible to providing product / service information to customers and resolving product/service problems. This role must also communicate effectively with the internal team members to maintain a high level of quality service to end customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide timely and accurate information for customer order status and product knowledge requests. Provide timely feedback to Lead regarding customer concerns or process failures.
Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
Resolve material/process problems by assessing cause of issue; communicating the best countermeasure to solve the problem to Lead; facilitating correction or adjustment based on approved countermeasure; following up to ensure resolution.
Resolve customer requests via phone, email, mail, or etc.
Utilize computer programs to place orders, manage shipping paperwork to comply with company policies and legal regulations
Work with Group Leader to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.
Maintain billing and shipping documentation for primary customers & vendors
Compile shift report on on-going issues and current projects to maintain service levels through shift changes.
Maintaining and filing organized paperwork/logs as required by company requirements and legal standards.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities
Requirements*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office programs
*Experience with Inventory Management systems preferred (Ex:SAP)
*1 year experience in administrative role
