Position Summary:

Team Tech is responsible for providing effective customer service to all internal and external customers by maintaining an in-depth understanding of company procedures and services. He/she is the �face of� or representative of Kimura operations and as such is expected to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers/vendors.

The tech will act as a liaison between external and internal customers and assist with orders, errors, schedule/material questions, shipping schedules and other queries. The team member will be responsible to providing product / service information to customers and resolving product/service problems. This role must also communicate effectively with the internal team members to maintain a high level of quality service to end customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Communicate on phone, in person and through digital media clearly, professionally and with a high level out professionalism and courtesy. Clarify issue or reason for communicate from vendor/customer

  • Provide timely and accurate information for customer order status and product knowledge requests. Provide timely feedback to Lead regarding customer concerns or process failures.

  • Process customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.

  • Resolve material/process problems by assessing cause of issue; communicating the best countermeasure to solve the problem to Lead; facilitating correction or adjustment based on approved countermeasure; following up to ensure resolution.

  • Resolve customer requests via phone, email, mail, or etc.

  • Utilize computer programs to place orders, manage shipping paperwork to comply with company policies and legal regulations

  • Work with Group Leader to ensure proper customer service is being delivered.

  • Maintain billing and shipping documentation for primary customers & vendors

  • Compile shift report on on-going issues and current projects to maintain service levels through shift changes.

  • Maintaining and filing organized paperwork/logs as required by company requirements and legal standards.

  • Requirements*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
    *Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office programs
    *Experience with Inventory Management systems preferred (Ex:SAP)
    *1 year experience in administrative role
