The Technology Solutions Professional Productivity is responsible for evangelizing the Microsoft Productivity offerings with enterprise and corporate customers by supporting the technical pre-sales motions. This includes influencing the deployment and adoption of Microsoft Office 365 and other Productivity workloads-which results in increased market share and revenue growth.
•Utilizing and leading the Office 365 Customer Decision Framework to rapidly qualify in/out opportunities prove the value and technical fit of Office 365
•Aligning Microsoft Premier Deployment or Partners to support Office 365 deployment
•Influencing adoption of Microsoft Premier Online
•Developing customer trust in Microsoft’s cloud services
•Partnering with the BG Solution Architect team to ensure what is sold can be delivered as a service.
This results in aligned customer expectations, a differentiated approach versus the competition, higher market share, increased customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
Specific Responsibilities include:
•Assist Microsoft sales teams to generate Office 365 and Productivity solution excitement to fill and accelerate the sales pipeline through customer workshops with deep technical expertise
•Effective sales and presentation skills, and superior customer focus.
•Provide pre-sales technical support to enable customers and partners to develop, deploy, and support Office 365 and server based solutions, including Office, SharePoint, Exchange, Lync, Project, and Visio.
•Successfully drive the win rate within assigned customer opportunities by delivering technical sales engagements such as Solution Alignment Workshops (SAWs), Proof of Concepts (POCs), and Pilots.
•Develop partner engagements that build the Office 365 opportunity pipeline and lead to the deployment of Productivity solutions.
•Engage with customers who are evaluating competitive solutions to demonstrate the benefit and value of Microsoft solutions
•Ensure that self-readiness materials, and the sales readiness of other Microsoft field roles and partners, are developed and maintained for selling Office 365 and Productivity solutions in competitive environments.
•The successful candidate for the TSP (Technology Solutions Professional) - Productivity will have the following attributes:
•Ability to communicate effectively, and develop lasting relationships with ‘C’ level executives, Enterprise Architects, as well as senior business or technical leaders with the highest levels of business acumen and technical expertise.
•Proven results leading complex technology implementation efforts with ‘hands on’ delivery experience in Exchange, SharePoint, Lync and Windows platform related tools and technologies.
•Teaming/Collaboration - Demonstrates effective cross-group collaboration skills to achieve results through influence with internal and external stakeholders.
•Deep technical skills with the ability to understand the customer’s IT architecture, identify risks, and translate the feature and function set into customer solutions, disqualify opportunities early in the sales cycle early in the sales cycle, and win against the competition. Enterprise Architecture experience (infrastructure) a plus.
•Developing strong, strategic partners engaged in immediate and long-term strategic opportunities and committed to Microsoft.
•Is a resourceful problem-solver, leveraging internal and partner resources in assigned opportunities where and when needed to do what’s right for the customer.

•200 to 300 level knowledge in networking technologies.
•300 - 400 level knowledge of infrastructure design and migration - 100 Level knowledge of the tools and resources used by customers and their Lines of Business (e.g., financial metrics and statements, industry and analyst reports, executive dashboards, etc.)
•100 Level knowledge of customers’ processes around hardware inventory, software distribution, monitoring and packaging, internal IT governance, etc.
•Microsoft Products 400 Level knowledge in Office 365 Suite and workloads: Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Lync Online, and Office Professional Plus subscription.
•200 to 300 Level knowledge in Microsoft collaboration products including Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SharePoint Server, Lync Server and Office.
This role will be based in Microsoft’s Irvine office. Relocation not available.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
